The 175mm x 32mm x 4.8m Black Painted Feather Edge Cladding is a stylish and durable solution for exterior timber cladding. Made from pressure-treated softwood—often spruce or whitewood—it’s designed to resist decay and weathering, making it ideal for barns, sheds, garages, and garden buildings.

Each board is tapered, typically from around 22mm down to 7mm, allowing for a traditional overlapping installation that sheds water effectively. The black paint finish gives a bold, contemporary look while also saving time on-site. Many boards are double-coated or primed on multiple sides for added protection and a uniform appearance.

This cladding is usually installed horizontally with a recommended overlap of 25–40mm, providing a face coverage of approximately 145mm per board. It’s easy to fix using stainless steel or galvanised nails or screws, and can be re-painted to maintain its finish over time
