Description

The IG BOX 140 is a standard duty structural steel lintel designed for 140mm solid wall construction, suitable for both internal and external openings. It’s engineered to support the full load of wet masonry immediately upon installation, eliminating the need for propping and accelerating build schedules.
Manufactured from pre-galvanised mild steel with a Z600 zinc coating (600g/m²), the lintel offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Its closed box profile ensures superior rigidity and load distribution, while perforations along the length act as a plaster key for improved adhesion of internal finishes. Optional expanded polystyrene insulation is available to enhance thermal performance.
