The IG L10 Single Leaf Lintel is a standard duty galvanised steel lintel designed to support the outer leaf of 102mm brickwork in cavity wall construction. Featuring an L-shaped cross-section, it provides reliable structural support for small to medium-sized openings such as windows, meter boxes, and pedestrian doors. Manufactured in 150mm length increments, the L10 range offers flexibility across a wide span of applications.
Each lintel is made from high-grade galvanised steel with a minimised spangle finish, ensuring corrosion resistance and long-term durability. A small top bend at the rear edge allows for propping during installation, accelerating build speed and improving site efficiency. The L10 complies with BS EN 10346:2009 and BS 476: Part 20:1987, making it suitable for both residential and commercial builds under standard loading conditions.
